I have extensive experience in helping clients manage depression, anxiety, and stress. I have a special interest in working with clients struggling with anxiety (e.g., panic attacks, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalized anxiety). Other areas of clinical interest include: chronic pain/injuries, relationship issues/distress, workplace stress, grief, trauma, and low self-esteem.
My approach with clients draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
I strive to help clients identify their strengths and gain resilience when coping with injuries, stresses, symptoms and losses. My main goal is to develop a relationship with every one of my clients that is based on honesty, openness and trust.
