I then completed a 1-year residency program in clinical psychology at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) in 2007-2008. During this training, I worked in a variety of rotations including: general adult mental health, child and adolescent mood and anxiety disorders, child and adolescent eating disorders, and community mental health.
Following my residency, I became registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in 2009 (registration #4703). I am registered as a Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychologist and work with adults in both individual and couple therapy.
I have worked in private practice since 2008. My clinical interests continue to be focused on treating depression and anxiety, as well as helping clients with such challenges as: self-esteem issues, anger problems, sleep problems, relationship stress, work stress, eating disorders, and loss/grief. I expanded my clinical interests to also include working with clients with injuries and chronic pain, as well as working with couples in relationship distress.
I am so grateful to be able to work with individuals who give me the privilege to learn more about their personal stories. It is a gift to be a witness to the amazing resiliency that my clients show in the face of adversity.
